CM-T Male Economy with Teflon Liner
McGill CM-T rod ends are 2-piece economy male joints with Teflon liners which have three components; the ball, the liner and the body. The ball is inserted and the body is swaged around the ball to lock it in and then loosened to allow it to move. The Teflon liner between the ball and the body allows for a tighter fit and smooth rotation of the ball. The liner keeps out dirt etc and gives the joint a longer lifespan. These joints are ideal for use in areas which do not have a large force present but do have constant motion at the ball.
These are also commonly used in budget forms of motorsport as well as full contact oval racing. These joints do not require lubrication as the liner allows them to be self-lubricated.
