How to choose the correct Air Filter?

Deciding which size of filter will best suit your needs is based on how much space you have available. The recommendation from ITG is that you fit the tallest filter element possible while staying within the 1/2" (13mm) average gap that must be left over the top of the element to allow air to circulate. The minimum gap size of 3/4" (19mm) or more preferably 1 1/4" (32mm) should be left between the end of the pipe and the underside of the top filter if you are using ram pipes.
